Bird Activity Box:

• Make a pine cone bird feeder
• Make your own binoculars and identify the birds you see
• Create your own bird and build it a nest
• Encourage mindfulness whilst listening to birds singing
• Develop your child's communication and language with bird rhymes
• Contents - pine cone, bird seeds, string, cardboard tubes, glue, feathers, pastels, tissue paper.

 

Tree Activity Box:

• Experiment with different mediums to leaf print
• Create a woodland character and build it a den
• Go on a nature walk and identify trees
• Explore the textures of Bark through bark rubbing
• Experience mindfulness through forest bathing
• Contents - paper, pastels, charcoal stick, paint, fabric, string.
